No you are not being too critical, with many clubs like our own struggling with ancient ground facilities & some NRL clubs close to the wall, it seems that to me as well.

Why don't they just locate themselves in the NSW leagues club and give the money saved to the clubs?

All they are doing is building a Taj Mahal to be filled with overpaid wankers who do SFA for the game.
