gallop  should tell them to **** off - why give another code a free kick, additionally clever marketing of games could see bumper crowds of O/S tourists attracked to games whsilt they are in Aust.

John Ribot's plan of world domination is a step closer.................

If we get the world cup it will be a million times bigger than any other sport going around, and everyone else will just have to get over it.

What are we going to do, tell Brazil they cant play because 8000 people have to watch the bunnies play the tigers or something?

Its apparantly the biggest sporting event in the world, bigger than the olympics, so what choice do we have? either compete against it and hope to attract some 'new followers' (which is unlikly) at the risk of lower crowd attendance or take a break.

Might keep us entertained during the summer instead of watching cricket all day.

Take the game to country venues and ask for compensation from FIFA.

Redevelopments of Newcastle's EnergyAustralia Stadium, Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville, Carrara on the Gold Coast, Canberra Stadium and a western Sydney venue to the FIFA-required 40,000-capacity are also part of the plan.
