News: Sea Eagles lie low

<p>THE Sea Eagles rallied together at Narrabeen yesterday and trained without Brett Stewart as the club turned its energies towards its 2009 season opener against the Bulldogs.
Stewart is staying with family at a friend’s home in Brookvale. He has been charged with sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl and will appear before Manly Local Court on April 7. The Daily Telegraph online reported that results from all major DNA tests on samples taken from Stewart had returned no evidence to support the charge. Police would not confirm this report at time of publication. </p><p>But Stewart’s lawyer Geoff Bellew did not confirm his client’s DNA results. ``I haven't received any notification - official or unofficial - nor would I expect to,’’ Bellew told the Sportal sports website on Thurdsay night. ``It doesn't work like that. The case will be conducted in court and nowhere else. ``No doubt the DNA report will form part of the brief of evidence which will be served sometime in the future.’’</p>
