I think that that is why some of us are pissed. We beat the Storm amd the Dragons but we haven't backed this up often enough. It does come down to motivation and attitude

KE, are you willing to have a bet that Manly will make the 8?
Anything outside of the 8 is as good as collecting the spoon IMO.

It wouldn't be a big bet, but I am still confident enough that we will make it into the 8 mate

Looking at the rest of our draw, we have a lot of 4 point games coming up if we would like to call them that against sides around us in the pack, namely Warriors, Rooster, Tigers, Newcastle and Dogs. Winning the majority of those imo will get us through, with our for and against still being reasonably healthy.

I'm reasonably confident that the other results could go our way, but I'm not at all confident we will win.

yeah, sharks look like easy beats, but from memory they do always step up a notch and make a game of it against us. if we remain in the slump, it could be the most embarassing loss of the year if they roll us.

The results would need to go as follows"

1. St George beat Souths - Probable
2. Brisbane beat Gold Coast in a close one - Possible
3. Melbourne Beat Warriors - Probable
4. Canterbury beat Easts - Possible
5. We beat Cronulla by 2 points more than Brisbane beat Gold Coast.

If those results happen we will be in 4th position next weekend.

How much motivation do our boys want??
