This season kind of crept up on me, I wasn't really thinking about it as I have been so busy with so many other things, but now it's only weeks away from kick off and i am starting to get psyched

Freak.. a true freak.

I cant believe that I grew up in an era lucky enough to watch Menzies,  Lyon, Lyons, Stewart, BK and so many more.

I know the day will come that I will tell my Manly kids and grandkids all about players like Stewart. Can't wait to see him on the field this year, I have a good feeling about the team this year and where we are going. We have a whole lot of options around the halves and even in hooker which means we are that much more dynamic. We have Brett back and things are looking good.

Lets hope Watmough pulls out another 2008 performance too.

I got a real good feeling about this season too;
* Lots of depth in key positions
* Boys are back to a good level of fitness
* A team packed full of internationals
* Talented young kids coming through
* Great players coming back from injury this season
* Brett's case behind him
* Dessie at the helm

Some great things to look forward to, I'm more pumped about this season than I have been the last 2!

Yes I am excited as well sitting here today, cant wait to get to brookie tonight even if it is a trial.  2011 should be a better year assuming injuries dont cream us again -  a lot to look forward to!
