I'd love to see it.
While I think Saab would win over 100m or longer I'd be keen to see how Dean Mariner would fare. He runs with such grace that I think he could be almost as quick.
Players such as Walsh and Kini would lead the field early.

You would think Saab once he really got into stride , Coates and Young would be pretty competitive along with a heap of others including Koula and Sandwich .
Reckon that Saab , Koula and Garrick would be in the top 15 or so speeders in the comp. and that has to count for something
Running in footy boots would be a factor as well

A 3-man relay would be sick as.
Imagine Saab, Koula and Garrick going up againt Addo-Carr, Kiraz & Crichton(Dogs)
or Kini, Khan-Pereira & P. Sami (GCT)
Add in The Hammer, Averillo & Farnworth or Bostock (Dolphins).
Chuck in Papenhuyzen, Coates & Fa'alogo.
Can't forget Cobbo, Mariner & Walsh.

How good would that be!

4 man relay even better……Koula to Garrick to Trbo with Saab bringing it home!

I am with you there feathered friend
Our Saab would leave them all for dead !

I absolutely love fast Manly backlines
and my obsession for speed inspired to buy this fast Chrysler 300 SRT 6.4 Litre Hemi V8
The cops had these beasts as HWY Patrol cars .
I purchased it on line from Victoria Euro Hub who sell Great Cars at Great Prices and their Customer service is Exceptional

SRT Also stand for Saab , Rueben and Tom
Now I can fly like our Mighty Sea eagles back line
I will hope to see you guys at the traffic lights one day :)

The '47ers

Your resident two-headed Queenslander
Was reading Mulitalo has hit the fastest speed this year. Of course it depends how long he can maintain that speed!

I was surprised to see Drinkwater run down Walsh the other night. I put drinky in the fastest 40 range, but that was a surprise to me.
Is there no love for the Fox anymore?
I hope it happens. It’d be the best half-time entertainment since Billy Idol (I was there for that. One of the funniest things I’ve seen at a footy ground. Not as funny as that night in Brizzo when they introduced the "rally towel!). @:D

Other than Saab and Koula who would of course be our top entrants, I'm fairly sure DCE use to win the speed tests at Manly. It's possible he's lost some pace with age but I think he'd be handy in a relay team.

Blake Metcalfe would go close to making the relay team..

Walsh has top acceleration but doesn’t hold it over a long distance. He’s been run down a few times on long breaks from memory.

Personally feel it's who is 2nd fastest
There are some genuine speedsters, but Saab is in a class of his own, but 2nd to 8th would be interesting
Agreed. Saab by about 3-5 metres!!! I hope they go with a 100 metre sprint rather that a relay. If the latter we will never know who is the fastest.
