Journey Man
This brand new team of a graders and others is undefeated in the Sydney Shield. Won by about 60 on the weekend. Wonder if manly has their eye on them as a potential feeder? Wonder how they'd go against our Nsw cup team.

They would get absolutely smashed by our NSW Cup side, and our NSW cup side is going sh@thouse.

As Pete said they'll get 60 put on them.

Seen some of the RMC sides really push the NSW Cup sides ie The Entrance who also lead there comp.

But I want to see the real NRL (Newcastle Comp) aka the Rebels play against a NSW Cup team or QLD Cup team get the feeing they'll beat them.

I beg to differ, a lot if their players willy bishop, Andrew maxwell, Jayden horo (Justin's younger brother ) and many more have proven themselves more then up for NSW cup standard, these boys have played A grade for narraweena under cliffys reign for many years, it's a shame that manly don't use the depth the senior system has to offer on the beaches !!

Not so fast Peter C
An interesting not to mention much “fairer contest’ would be to pit the new “part time” Peninsula Seagulls against Manly’s NSW Cup side WITHOUT their “full time” contracted players whom firmly belong with NRL side.

Essentially, as the newly formed Northern Beaches All Stars side contains a mix of more recent Manly reserve graders with those from the victorious Narraweena 2010/11 A/Grade Grand Final side, the result may indeed surprise.

Move them up to the RMC (Ron Massey Cup) and see how they go first

No worries there Eagles2win given Asquith Magpies currently sit second on Ron Massey Cup Ladder fielding a similar side to that belted by Narraweena Hawks 34-8 in Manly A Grade Grand Final (2011).
With Peninsula Seagulls strong Narraweena contingent, I'm sure they could handle RMC

So will they be looking at playing the Cabra 9's and Jason Annear 9's next season?

Yep, Micks brother (& just as quick :)

There is a game this weekend for supporters residing on Northern Beaches,
as the undefeated Peninsula Seagulls go for 12 straight wins against Mounties at Lake Park Narrabeen (Saturday 3.00pm). This all new Northern Beaches "All Stars" outfit currently leads the New South Wales Rugby Leagues Sydney Shield competition by 4 points having racked up an average of 50 points in each of their last four games. Mounties however are a formidable outfit keen on being the first team to "dent the record" so Gulls may not find so easy. Comprising mostly local talent, why not support the very capable "part timers" by heading down to Narrabeen for what should be an entertaining contest

Yes I think they're pretty close Fluffy...

Keep an eye on the Belrose side in the same comp. They look to be specials for the semis in that comp as well, sitting comfortably in fourth position. The MW area owns the Shield Cup with only the Magpies a threat
