Penn and the Sponsors?

Wasn't there an article in the media with Penn stating that if Mayer is sacked or pushed some of the sponsors will walk aswell?

I also seem to recall reading somewhere that Max said the first thing the new CEO will do is get rid of Zorba.  

If that happens it will be interesting to see Penn's reaction.

Zorba might get a reprieve or be used as a bargaining tool. Both factions would have to agree on the new CEO and it could goes along the lines of : I agree with that CEO Scott but only if you get rid of Zorba.

It could get ugly.

According to the media, Mayer has resigned rather than be sacked. It shouldn't affect too much. Any decision on Zorba should be made based on his usefulness to the club and competence rather than to whom he is aligned or what he has said about ex-sponsors and board members.

How are they goning hammer them? Drag the club through a media feeding frenzy?

With all respect to the above mentioned but the only ones with the clout are the ones with the cash and that is Penn and Delmege.

Zorba may be safe for all I know, but if he's pushed, he'll should go quitely.

We've had the club dragged through the media enough and personally I'm sick of that bull****.
