The majority-owning Penn family have re-affirmed their commitment to Manly as the Sea Eagles finalise a bid for state government funding for a $22 million new Centre of Excellence at Narrabeen they believe would bring the club up to speed with many of its NRL rivals.

I'm looking forward to the actual resurfacing of the oval itself. It has to be a disadvantage for the boys to play half their games on such a heavy and uneven surface.

I assume the Narrabeen aspect will include upgrading the Academy of Sport which even Jason Falinski has been backing. The track and so on are pretty worn out so this isn't just a "Manly" fix, it's for the Warringah community. Thumbs up from me.
