Hit $100 a barrell overnight. We are looking at weekly cycle of 1.35 to 1.50 this week. Just hope our dollar stays strong or we will pay more.

Which is also an interesting scenario in town. some are selling at 57.9 and others at 77.9. So the differential is something like 40%!!!!!!!

On the petrol side Mata, sounds like ou have a bit of a Mobil v Caltex price war at the moment which they do from time to time. Take advantage of it while it lasts.

LPG is a nothing product for retailers. They make more money from Coca Cola than they do from LPG, so they will give it away from time to time if they are down on volume.

Petrol prices here atm are around the 149 mark, LPG about 66-72
 
Oh well, all otlets now selling LPG at 81.9!  I calculate that increase would bely an inflation rate of 1100%.  Sounds like Zimbabwe.
 
well i drove past the petrol station twice in 10 minutes on wednesday and the price rose at an inflation rate of 187,000%.

Funny how our prices went up seconds after the global price per barrel went up but how it stays high for weeks after it drops by 10% overseas.
