Players Attitude problems and the spot light

double hoops

First Grader
In the post-match press conference after a 26-point loss to the Knights (4th in a row) he called out his players for not having the right attitude and not playing like first graders... but that the change had to come from the players to fix that.

Seibold isn't as direct in his post-match press conferences, but I don't think our situation is that much different.

Hearing we have a group of players upset at being held to account after their **** performances in recent weeks is pretty hard to cop.

But @Scorpio makes a pretty important point above with Horsehead.

Even harder to cop how our basketcase of a Rick & Scott Penn owned Manly club has handled this development today which publically shines the light on the coach.

How do you feel about your membership money and price of admission, going to pay yet another coach a million backs a year to stay home, and water his yard?

Horsehead over at South might not have anything like the same degree of difficulty to manage when it comes to leaders with attitude. At Manly we have a leadership group which includes a disgruntled Captain who wants to play anywhere in the comp but for his Manly, a Captain who just might be setting fire and enjoying it burn before he goes, is mid year an angle you ask? Who knows but would it surprise you? Dollar Chasers form sure did change from the time of his I am fn off announcement.

Horsehead doesn't have a group of brothers currently talking numbers for an extension does he? At least not brothers used to being the centre of that club and getting really big numbers. Just may be that's not the complete line this coach sees moving forward.

What Horsehead does have at Souths. Is a club who let's him get on with being a coach. A club who let's the coach put the spot light on the players, Let's a coach say he can't change the players attitude for them. ( PS at Manly would Horsehead be sacked for that? Its a results driven business after all)

Today. Yep. Same old same. Manly have ignited the fuse. Placed the Spot light on the coach. You just watch it explode and burn now.

Players will let even more TRIES in next game now.....

And the kicker, Magically the media are talking up a bloke who really doesn't have a resume to take over a head coaching role at the drop of a hat.

But (Apparently he is highly regarded and being groomed to take over one day... 😂). Sounds like a CHEAP CHEAP option.

Des got paid his money.

No doubt Seibs will be getting paid millions to water his yard.

Dont know about you but I'm pretty fed up with my hard earned $, the membership, the admission , the boxes, the jerseys (which when you part with it, you hope, feel like it supports the club to be better.

Its pretty crap our mis managed under funded club can't find a way to spend $ on winning premierships, as opposed to paying millions for people to not to show up to work so often. Recruitment, Retention how can everything be so stuffed at Manly? But who really pays?

Fans.......

Poor form today Manly.
