Who would you like to see here next year ?
A couple of young, big ,aggressive forwards needed here desperately.
A Running hooker.
And Te Maire Martin (only contracted for this year)
Next year we will be running both Tom & Schuster in the spine.
We will need a quality back up player to play in the halves & FB ,& I think he fits the bill.
Probably fill in at centre also.
Anyone else think he fits here ?

Not a lot left in the kitty robbiea, just enough for a few 2nd tier players and upgrades. We do have that Tigers forward coming over next season, he looks promising.

The first question you ask when talking about recruitment is how much much $$$ you have in the cap.Next is where are you lacking in quality or depth. Then you ask where does that player fit when the team is full strength because someone is not coming to a club to play reserve grade from day 1.As Martin was your example, where does he play when team is at full strength(granted Manly rarely play at full strength)

Yep moves around the edges seem the only play the club has left.

If we couldn't offer Foran 350/400k then it shows you what's left in the kitty.

To some extent, our spending for next season depends on the outcome of Manase's trial. If the verdict is not guilty & he is fit to play, I assume he would be signed for @ $500k. If the verdict is guilty, this could free up @ 500k to spend on other players.

You need to add to what youth we got coming through and the keepers
Turbo
Saab
Tuipolatu
Koula
Garrick
Schuster
Humphreys
Jurbo
M Fainu
Josh A
Olakuatu
Burbo
?

Lawton
Paseka
Bullemour
?

Excuse any spelling errors with names…we need a good lock another experienced prop and if Fainu isn’t back then we need a good hooker for the 17

I think we need more depth in the centres, another centre that will push for a first grade spot. We need depths in the halves, with foran leaving. We also need another established prop. We may need another hooker depending on the fainu case. Whether we have room in the cap is another story though. We could always move on a few nuffs to make it happen. Nevertheless, working with a budget. My list is..

1.Deine Mariner
2.Lachie Miller/ Te Maire Martin
3.Tui Kamikamica
4.Soni Luke/Fa'amanu Brown

Anyone know much about Zac Fulton. Seen he's been playing a bit at lock but I have not been able to watch him. Is he looking the goods? Where would he play?

In relation to young up and coming dummy halves Jayden Berrell looks very good (although he is 26 so wouldn't say he's young) and I was actually tipping him to push Brailey this year. So far Brailey has improved his game dramatically and it looks like Jayden will have to bide his time which could work in our favour if Manase is found guilty.

Schuster at 5/8
Jake to prop
new recruit Kelma Tuilagi or Lawton at 2nd row
Ryan Sutton at lock

6. Schuster
7. DCE
8. Jake
9. Croker/Fainu
10. Aloiai
11. Olakau'atu
12. Lawton/Tuilagi
13. Ryan Sutton

14. Fainu/croker
15. Tuilagi/Lawton
16. Bullemor
17. Paseka

18. Sipley
19. Burbo
20. Keppie
21. KDL

We need:

- A big name prop that can replace Marty Taupau and actually live up to his name and become a premier front row leader for us (Luke Thompson, Spencer Leniu etc)

- a 14 similar to Dylan Walker. Very important role he plays and is leaving a massive hole. Don't really know anyone available that can play that similar role. Maybe we promote Weekes to do that or recall Cade Cust who I reckon could do well in a similar role.

- Centre. I wouldn't mind us trying to win a comp with Parker and Tolu as our centres, Parker is very underappreciated and Tolu is a superstar in the making. But we need a backup kinda centre that can also push for a starting spot if Parker is not up for it. Deajarn Asi and Isiaih Tass is who I'd look at

- Hooker. This should be number one priority realistically but can't make a judgement on it till this Fainu case gets solved. So it's still up in the air. We get Fainu back for 2023, then we are sorted, starting hooker Fainu and bench hooker Crocker/Lawton works out really well for us.

- Backup half. DCE origin duties, Schuster injury concerns. We need like a halfback type player to organise for Schu when DCE has origin. Once again I think it'd very ideal if we just recall Cade Cust.

- Backup specialist fullback probably needed. But i think it'd be better if we just move weeks or tolu there.

Other than all that, maybe some young winger or halfback. Our production line for forwards is coming good. Just need an established prop we can use now to win a title.

1. A new owner with more financial clout
2. A referee whisperer to show us how to cheat

Players are not as important as the bosses who control outcomes.
1. If our owner did not have any financial clout we would not have been able to keep the best player in the game Tom and the other Great players that we have .

2. Winning is not all about learning how to cheat. It is all about learning to play with more composure , resilience and discipline

Players are important . Great teams have overcomes refs setbacks and had prevailed with great comebacks

Sharks pumped The Warriors with 11 men for 10 minutes, 12 men for 70 odd minutes. That's character and culture right there imo. Our fans on the flipper were happy with our brave effort when 40 was put on us.

Next year I lose the following players:

Out: Harper, Parker Taupau, Croker, DCE, Foran, Walker, (renege on Tuilagi if possible), Davey, Boyle, Taufua, Sykes, Roumanos, KDL, Fifita, Fulton from top 30.
Position change: Schuster (lock), Jake (Prop) - also re-signed on half money.

On the Sharks, their recruitment last year was solid and the key to them pumping the warriors, Finucane and Hynes brought qualities from Melbourne, Fitzy the same with detail from the Roosters, theres no way they would of been capable of that sort of mind set and performance last year.

And, I‘m not touching the other half of your post.
