Defence, defence, defence. Defend until we've earnt the right to attack. Let's rip into em and get back the mentality we've had for the majority of the season. We have been out enthused for the past three weeks

FOX.....
Sea Eagles mail: The Sea Eagles are without Addin Fonua-Blake after the prop was charged with a careless high tackle on Cooper Cronk. He’ll miss a week after taking the early plea. Dylan Walker is wearing a moon boot due to bone bruising but will be named.
Roosters mail: Boyd Cordner will be rested for another week with a knee issue. Jake Friend is a chance to return from a broken hand but Victor Radley will retain the No.9 jersey if Friend doesn’t return despite suffering a thumb injury on the weekend. “We don’t know how much longer Friendy is going to be out for,” Aidan Guerra said.

Well if ever a game was MIGOTY then this is it.

Lose badly, and we are done for 2017.

Win, and we stay hanging in there.
I agree feathered friend . This is the game were every player will have to contribute and not just make up the numbers .
Every player must show their worth to the team .
We cant have forwards making 30 metres and arm grabbing their way defensively and we can have backs missing tackles and dropping balls as this is a recipe for another flogging .

If we lose this one, i tip us to scrape in at 8th.

If we win, i reckon we will finish in 6th (5th if we can get a couple of big wins)

Win this and we should still be able to grab a position in the bottom half of the 8. Possibly even top 4 if the Broncos' form stays down.

Lose this and I think we miss the finals entirely, or maybe just barely make the 8 to get spanked in week 1 of the finals.

Either way I think next year is going to be a better year.

AFB and Cullen out. Brad Parker and Perrett onto the bench. Tanginoa in the 21 man squad.

No Cordner, Gordon or Friend for Chooks, although Friend has been named in the 21 man squad.

Happy, we've always gone well with two utilities on the bench this season. Maybe more responsibility is put on our forwards, or we can always have a fast, energetic dummy half rather than a tired api 60mins in. I'm not sure what it is but it worked a while ago, let's hope it works again. Parker may just add enough pressure on Kelly/Wright that they lift and reset their standards

Jorge gone 2018.

Manly Sea Eagles Winger set to be moved on after the 2017 season.
It is understood that the playing future of Jorge Taufua on the Northern Beaches is set to come to an end, with Coach Trent Barrett unable to guarantee Taufua a spot in his squad for the 2018 season.

Sounds more like a money thing - 4 Clubs after him :dollar::euro::gbp::yen:

All the best to Jorge in whatever he decides

He is over in England (Or France?) at the moment with Sene-Lefao, Horo and another former nrl (possibly manly) player who i can't remember on the spot. Ever since i knew he had been up there i've been wondering if he's possibly been talking to clubs, interesting

Still not buying it until official though
