The two 2 dads on the bench returning from injury should help the side.

Also looks like Hasson is OK and will play next week (or at least warm the bench for 80 minutes)

Good chance for our boys to knock off a near rival (2 spots above us) & hopefully start climbing the ladder...

I agree FB have been watching some of the home games, where is Jason Seage, Esi Tonga, Dom Nasso, Dean Mcglinchey saw this guy play against Mounties big and fast haven't seen him since, how could you leave any of these out ? Are they injured?

Not sure about Tonga but Nasso, Seage and McGlinchy are all fit and available for selection. McGlinchy has been shunned nearly all season but every time Ive seen him play he kills it and he is a big unit. At one stage when we had a lot of injuries Williamson still wouldnt pick him.

Zac Nicholls a good prospect from our SG Ball has been filling in at half back while Seage was injured but he is struggling at this level. Last weekend he knocked the ball on twice, kicked the ball out on the full and threw a wild pass for Windsor to intercept and score a try. So what happens this week? Williamson again picks him in front of Seage who is in the NRL squad.

Illawarra Cutters Vs Manly Sea Eagles
WIN Jubilee Oval, Kogarah, Saturday, July 6
Kick-off: 1.10pm

Broadcast: LIVE on Fox Sports 1

Summary: Two sides do battle here that can’t afford to head home with anything less than the two competition points. The Cutters were unable to make up any ground on the sides in front of them last round when their match with the Bears was postponed until Monday week due to the big wet while Manly were valiant in defeat against Windsor, but unfortunately, valiancy does not bring with it any competition points. Some quick calculations suggest that 28 competition points is probably the number in terms of qualifying for the finals, meaning that Manly (12) and Illawarra (14) both have some work to do. Both sides do have a bye to come, but so to do most of the sides that they look to be competing with for a top eight spot. Realistically Manly would need to win seven of their last eight clashes while Illawarra will probably need to win six of their last nine. Either way, a loss for either side here, probably just about ends their season for all intents and purposes. Peta Hiku returns for Manly after spending considerable time in the top grade of late, and this sees young Clinton Gutherson shift into the centres while for the Cutters there has been a host of positional changes, particularly in their backline.

Talking Point: Just wild about Harry – Harry Siejka stepped straight into the fold for the Cutters against Wyong a fortnight ago after his mid-season shift from the Vulcans, and while the club probably wouldn’t admit it publicly, their season largely sits on his young shoulders right now. With Josh Drinkwater’s form not up to scratch of late and few other halves options presenting themselves to the club, they were forced to move and move quickly to gain the services of the former NSW Under 20s Representative. The Cutters look to have a fairly decent run coming up with a number of home games to come as well as some very winnable away games, and if Siejka can gel with his new team mates quickly, an unlikely finals spot is still not out of the question.

Prediction: Leaning towards the home side but Manly are capable of the upset. Cutters by 7.

Just found out that Esi Tonga has left the club. Not happy with Luke Williamson. When will the club sort out the Willo problem?

was handy backup for when we get into strife but will not be a big loss that is for sure. Still it does say a bit that a bloke who is striving to make a dollar would rather quit.

Maybe he found a job that pays more than $60k? Lots of guys make such a choice in their mid 20s, especially fringe 1st graders. It's a hard job being a league player.

Maybe Wilo hasn't got photo's of the goat but is the goat.

Chiz should get a run in TSV, great variety in his many kicks

The young Ref is also quick and decisive

Great to see the Manly Defence in action.
Well deserved win

any scores or things you have noticed Napper?? Are you there?

Yeah mate just leaving now.

Manly got up 26-24. Dug deep in the end forced errors and got the goods.

stand outs

MCK (although playing through injury) looked dangerous with every touch. Ligi Sao is exactly what we need in nrl. Every carry is strong. Farrar is past it. Poor guy looks so slow.
