Realistically;DCE=no SOO-is it a motivator or season killer?

Will he step up and show the Q'land selectors they're all wrong OR does he get frustrated and fall into a mid season slump?

I reckon all the baggings he has copped has seen him come ahead in leaps and bounds as a player in the past year or so. It's fueling him.

He's always had the skills but if being critical was always a bit over elaborate and flashy. Now after all the criticism he's playing tougher and doing all the 1% things like a JT. He's the sort of guy everyone has a target on so that means he will cop it for every minor flaw he ever shows. He cant ever relax.

The more they bag him the better he plays and the more he has to prove. .

With all due respect I hope the QLD keep bagging him.

I wouldnt be surprised if walters or someone in the origin selection team called chez and told him to wait til next year..
With smith cronk jt and maybe slater all possibly done after this series, i think they know they wont be winning any series with milford hunt and morgan calling the shots.

Keep it same same this year, start fresh next year with dce calling the shots

He's got enough good people around him should he need support.
Anyway Meninga will choose him in the world cup squad and make them look sillier than they do now.
Wether they win or lose picking hunt is a laugh.

I'm glad they didn't pick him.

We need him more than QLD.

I wish he was available for NSW. Anyone who saw the Gummies run rough-shod over the Rooters saw the frailties in Piss' game. Crap kicking and zero composure.

He's is the weakest link in the Blues' side.

I don't think he would be overly disappointed to miss out. I suspect he had resigned himself to that fact before Origin kicked off, he would have known he was behind Cronk, JT, Milf and Morgan, it has just been injury that has opened the door slightly.

I'm quite happy he isn't picked, if he plays and NSW win and he doesn't go that well then he will cop plenty - more likely to knock his confidence than missing out all together.

Better for us anyway, 2 points this weekend keeps us in touch with top 4 and moves us up to second. It also pushes Penrith one win further back out of 8 and gives us more of a buffer. Manly more important than DCE's origin career - he'll get his shot next year if he continues to deliver for us.

Thing is Cowboys need Penrith to lose so they keep a buffer.
