Recruits ? What about the backyard?

Talking about recruiting outsiders when we have the best crop of youngsters in the comp is foolish. Our priority is to keep them at Manly and give them their chance, on merit -- not just through injury as is the DESpicable way.
Had we not had the spate of injuries we'd still have Suli, Jetski, Boyle and Sir Loin underperforming in First Grade. Now we are all living with hope that we can be a competitive team.
 
I think Koula will definitely debut next year not 2023. You don’t put a player in your top 30 two years ahead of his debut. I have no doubt baring injury he’ll get game time next year.


Actually I think Koula and Burbo will get a chance later in the year, probably one or two games but a chance to see them with the big boys.

Who are the young crop coming through are they our development players or younger
