My cousin was good mates with Parra Jesus and played footy against him out West - he was a better supporter than player

Off topic , but yes loved Laurie Nicholls. Saw him at a few games. So passionate but always in right spirit. Also had affinity with as I occasionally worked in shearing sheds at the time.
Ross May was his name, a passionate member of the Australian Nazi party who was barred from Kogarah Oval. Quality human being, St George must be proud!

The Aboriginal guy who used to do that at Brooky was Steve. Met him when I was a kid, my father played the didgeridoo and knew him somehow.
I have no idea how I remembered that, just thought i'd throw that out here.
I have a vague recollection of him doing that at Cromer park for Manly Soccer back in the day...
Steve Dodd was his name, a notable actor as well, Steve was in the movie Gallipoli. Check out his Wikipedia profile. If anyone wants to update you can add that he was the boomerang entertainer at Brookie for many years.

There's the connection. My father worked on the movie Walkabout and Steve must have worked on that too. David Gulpilil was lead actor.
