You have to wonder how long Manly will persist with The Cougar at the helm of reggies...
I really like the guy - to me, he is like a tier 2 Manly legend...not quite up there with Cliffy, Beaver etc, but played in GF teams, held the team together in defence for a long time, never (seldom) put a foot wrong on the field or off it, did the hard yards, talked to the fans, appreciated everything the club and footy did for him. But getting rolled 50-12, at Brookie, in week five is a bit rubbish.
HOWEVER.... interesting points to note from that game:
Anyone who managed to catch it - any insights there on the way they performed, and did they stick to those positions?

- Fabian Goodall started the game as a prop. 6'2" and 110kg, was only a matter of time I guess.
- Halaufa Lavaka started off the bench, presumably as a bench forward.
