Seen on Facey that Reg has unfortunately passed away.

Rest In Peace Reg

On a side note this should be a major push for Norm Provan to become the next immortal!!

It's incredibly sad the Dragons put in such an inspid performance against the Bullldogs when one of they're great's passed away

RIP Reg Gasier. He was before my time but his impact on the game of rugby league is still felt today.

Condolences to the Gasnier family and Reg's friends. No doubt the great man will be missed.

RIP Reg "Puff the magic dragon" Gasnier. One of the original immortals of the game who thrilled crowds in the 1960s during the brilliant St George era. Rugby League has lost a favourite son.

My earliest memories of the game was bis commentary on the ABC saturday arvo program. What a legend in every sense of the word.

It's a pity for a lot of us there wasn't far superior video and TV coverage back in Reg and even Clive Churchill's respective eras'.

Would have been great to see more of both those players, not just hear about it.

Mr Gasnier not only sounded like a brilliant player, he was clearly a class act as a human being as well.

RIP, and condolences to all concerned.
