Salary Cap decision "Do the players already know something"

Yep Baz was asked that but i wouldn’t think that would have been the reason for the performance. In fact it should have done the opposite and fired them up more.
Yup, Manly sides fight with their back against the wall and rise from adversity, if the punishment was known we'd be doing just that

Manly players just didn't adapt to the slipery conditions.

Uate let in 18 points when his strength could easily have pushed Johnson over the sidelines, IF he had defended it instead of poncing around Parker 😕

Cap resolution will just help Baz plan his roster for next year

Haven't seen the game yet. Will watch the replay later this afternoon. Sounds like the players thought the game was won before the whistle was blown.
The highlight is watching Uate backpeddling five metres from the try line with a three on two attack coming at him. If you miss it the first time, fear not, he repeats it several times over.

Yesterday the commentators were searching for a team's downfall so soon after having a big win like we did last week. Well, my immediate thought was 1994....though at least then it lasted more than 1 week.

Rd.14 Manly def. St George 61-0 @ Brookie
Rd.15 Manly def. Easts 34-0 @ Brookie
Rd.16 Dogs def. Manly 26-10 @ Belmore

That loss to the Dogs was a Friday night game and we came in on a massive high. Then like Souffs yesterday the boys were just muscled out of it by a more committed side.

I'll admit that I have never in my 38 years of supporting Manly I have never re-watched a game we have lost.

I've seen our GF wins plenty of times over and I have seen our WCC win over Leeds so many times I know what Eddie and Stevo are going to say before they say it. But I have never and will never re-watch a Manly loss.

I watched the game. As I suspected, we thought that we had won it before the game even kicked off. Souths out enthused us and beat us to the punch on every play. Sam Burgess take your hat off, lead his team from the front and made sure we were never in the hunt.

I did see that, a couple of times. Hopefully we can turn up next week with a bit of enthusiasm. Another game like that from Akuila ad we might be seeing Parker on that wing.

Jesus, we've won 44% of our games for the last 2.5 years. that means we basically lose 6 out of 10 games, or 3 out of 5. We are going to lose with such a young roster. Unless something drastically changes, it is, what it is. I was a numbnuts after the Rabbits game and went bananas for no reason, and won't be doing it again.

Therefore, I'm lowering the bar expectation wise. If we win once in our next two games, that's about on par for us, and I'll be satisfied. 2 wins, 3 losses should keep us out of spoon territory and close(ish) to the top 8.
