No free to air in these rounds.  One would have thought that the Eels game may have attracted Channel 9.

Monday night round 1 is crap !!! Not happy

Am happy with the lack of Saturday night games though, am normally out on the chop nearing the end of cricket season and the bastards I am out with enjoy giving away the score

some other points in the scheduling
Dragons 5 Friday nights in a row
Roosters 5 Ch 9 games
2nd year in a row for Tigers to start on MNF

VERY happy with Round 4 in NZ being a Sunday arvo, would have sucked BIG TIME if it had been a Monday, considering I have almost a coach load (so far) in NZ for the weekend, going over Friday back Monday....any takers for that trip here???

The first weekend is going to take an eternity.  I don;t care if we don;t get any Ch 9 games given living in Queensland means it is the 2nd game on Friday or the stupid delayed telecast on Sunday.  Fox games suit me perfectly.

My season ticket holds a lot of value in the 1st 5 rounds - hahahahaha...and if ANYONE suggests the Manly vs. NEWCASTLE game is a home game, welll - they can go stuff their christmas stocking up the eye of their main veign.

Ryan  - the delay at start of the season is due to Brookie refurbs

It will be the only thing the roosters and dragons win next year.

I'm with Mata. The first 5 rounds are perfect for Foxtel viewers. 2 games live and 3 games on a 2 hour delay.

All the Fox sports games should be live.  The Warrior game is listed at their time, so it's the 2pm Sunday game.  Saturday games at 7.30 have Viewers' choice.

If Fox is covering it, it's far preferable to Ch 9, their delays, adverts and repetitive and biased commentary.

I'll go as far to say that the sonner the anti-siphoning laws for TV sport are dumped, the better.  Ch 9 and company don;t deserve the free run they currently enjoy.

Great for TV viewers =  great for News Limited = better $$$ for the game.
The problem is that the above equation = not good for season ticket holders which = NOT good for specific clubs.

If Gallop had more balls, we'd be in a much better position.
