Jesus ! Hit the ground running Tooves?
Says a few things:-

Tooves wants to lead from the front;
We are going with duel captaincy again (which I disagree with tbh)

Could be worse could have 5 captains and one of them being John Sutton

And no Rose, TRex, Wolfman, Choc or Joe G either

Fu**in strong squad and a few new names amongst them too

I'm excited

I think it would be tough to strip a guy from captaincy, IMO once Jamie and Jason move on they will go back to one captain.

The Manly Daily said that the WCC guys will just play a quarter and the others will get their chance to show their wares.

Can't wait, hope the Supporters Bus is going :D
Actually saw the Manly Opal bus in Bondi today. Lets hope the Owner has cleared his financial issues and gets the Boys to games in comfort

I'm not complaining. I just think Jamie Lyon should be the sole captain, so Kingy can just focus on getting back some match fitness, and focus on himself.

My hit the ground running statement means he has listed a bloody good team (if you thought I was attacking someone with that).

No didn`t think that.
Just believe in leaving things they way they are/were especially when they worked successfully previously.

any news on if there is a bus for the game?
The bookings normaly close on Wednesday lunchtime. If there are at least 30 the bus is organised -its on the MWSE Site booking page.

Vidmar posted the link in the previous MWTS Shark Park Trial thread.

If you take out 1st 17 the next side could be something like this.
1. Scott Blanch
2. Fineula Finau
3. Dean Whare
4. Jorge Taufua
5. Dom Nasso
6. Laim Foran
7. Garry Riccardi
8. Nick Skinner
9. Liam Higgins
10. James Cunningham
11. Junior Palau
12. Mitch Jowett
13. Jason Annear

14. Ben Falcone

Assume Dom is a winger as there was none other then. Falcone can play wing and did a little of that at Tigers.

Also what is going on with James Anderson whoi cwould assume would of been included.

And on co captains.

Jamie is Captain but by making King a co captain means Jamie does not have to do all the media which is he not keen on. Its a great system.

I always found the dual captaincy thing a tad odd - however it worked, so the philosophy is the cliche - if it ain't broke don't fix it !!!

Most importantly it works for the players & imo Kingy has played his best footy since given captaincy.

We don't need any changes to the onfield leadership, the stability there is actually a major positive that adequately compensates for the off-field changes.
