Life in the jungle is tough, you have to fight for everything, just to survive. Competitors fight the elements, nature, each other, and even the officials there to help them.

Whilst that is interesting it has nothing to do with this. I had planned a longer prose, but having just had my wisdom teeth out about an hour ago, I seem to be lacking in any creative inspiration.

Round one is always a tough one as players blow of the cobwebs, it can be quite harsh and players that otherwise usually show up week in and week out can sometime say goodbye this early on. However that is exactly what Survivor is about, its about rewarding consistency and punishing poor showings. The voting was tough this week with 71 votes being cast overall, there were two players that received an almost euqal share of the votes, this week just 3 votes seperated teh eliminated and the runner up and we almost had to go to tie-break.

However this week, the Tribe has spoken and Matthew Wright has been eliminated. Better luck next year, but for now, your survivor challenge is over.

Matthew Wright, received 24 of the votes

Make sure to vote next week https://silvertails.net/eliminator/2.1/playerlist after the game

Ha ha, Dan looks like a Squirrel!

I can't believe my vote of Jake didn't carry the day!

Plus @Dan.... clicking on others after you've voted, it comes up as "Seriously, you can't vote for me!" - so I lol'ed!

Nice comp!

Well done on getting those pics as well.

Bye Wrighty, you were “ the weakest link”.

@Dan a question.

This probably won’t go to round 26 as we have 24 games and if we eliminate 1 each week we will effectively run out of tribesmen give or take about round 20-21.

So I guess it will just be the last one standing at whatever point that is?

There 22 games remaining as we have 2 byes. However we may only use 20 players but may end up using 30. So we may need double elimination rounds

I must admit I am surprised how close the voting was. I thought Wright would have been booted reasonably comfortably, especially the way we were talking about him post game.

What happens if one of the players unavailable for voting are selected in a latter round? Do they come in contention? Imagine if Brown makes his way back into the side in round 25 and wins this thing.
