Sipley - Impact

Have been unsure of Sipley, but comes on exactly as you want your interchange- bringing impact and adding energy.
Made some robust charges and post contact metres when needed and importantly, won quick play balls leading the way for his mates by creating momentum....
I think he is a Must on form and brings far more than some who were supposedly ahead of him in the pecking order.

The More NRL match time and fitness he gets the better version I believe we will see from Sipley

Has been making an impact and good role since his inclusion again , going to be a bit of a dilemma when Siro returns . Paseka , Alioia , Marty and Keppie as the priority props , [ or expected ]Schuster is a keeper , Haumole really should be in the forward - edge mix even if Keppie might find himself in the unexpected role of prop or edge forward option going forward . If Siro is in favour again , guess that Toff goes down the ranking a bit even though he has gained a lot of respect and praise for his recent on field efforts .

Team spirit confidence and resilience spreads as quick as covid 19 when a team gets winning symptoms

I love Tof, he just rips in

...but if we weren't up by 30 I may not have got the giggle i did when he just about fell over into the tackler on an early tackle "hit-up" cause he was so gassed after the tits had made a break on the previous set and he had to run back 50m...

Really lacking match fitness - we can't carry him for too long. He needs to get up to fitness levels quick. He is super value and he does bring real energy and great yardage but he can't be a liability in defence because he is gassed.

The reason some people are unsure on Sipley is because he has rarely played. But every time he does,he has a significantly better impact than Boyle and Gosiewski.Only reason he’s gassed quickly is because he’s played very little game time the last three seasons. In the same vein as Harper, his enthusiasm alone should allow him to be given a fair run until form dictates a change. Not as if the other players have been making an impact to warrant selection

when suli had weight issues Des went the extra yards to work with and assist suli why hasn‘t sippers a) been given the same type of help (providing he hasn’t) as it’s clear he enjoys a feed a little to much, b) lack of game time and opportunity to get some extra miles and match fitness into him, if you look at his chassis 2019 to know he is carrying plenty. I‘d like to see him get into shape and become part of our front row rotation (especially if Marty moves on) he is a way better option than Boyle in any case, if given the same opportunity as Boyle‘s had, I believe we’d be reaping the benefits, it would be a shame to lose him to another club and watch him become a fit bench destroyer for another club.

In my opinion Sirro needs to work his way through reggies when fit. He only gets a look in if one of Guaca or the Shu get injured. I think the prop rotation is working nicely with Marty, Tof, and Keppie on the bench. Paseka and Keppie round out my top 3 from yesterday alongside Turbo.

Guaca showed enough yesterday, and his short stunts prior, to warrant a few more games to show what he has got. The Shu's combo with Foz and those on the left is blossoming nicely.

Sipley, Oka, Keppie, Paseka, Schuster and Co will get better and better the more they play. I believe that all of these guys should have got their chance with 8 rounds left in 2020 when it was obvious our season was over. Their growth and development now sets up our season and when you think about how poor our start was this year and the improvement that will come as these boys develop it warms your heart of many brighter days ahead for the team!

Thing with that was not only had he got back after the 70+ break it was his second hit up in the set.
Plenty of better forwards would have been still getting inside.

I would love to know why Des persisted with Suli, Boyle and Jetski in those first few matches. Blind freddy could see at the end of last year that Harper was our form centre, and Sipley was looking good even when Barrett was still here.
He didmt have Schuster in at first.
