So now the season is over I can start planning the website upgrades and maintenance that needs to run.
I am going to be doing this in 2 stages first will be the forum upgrade. This will take a few hours and will happen in about 2 weeks time.
2nd will be a reprovisioning of the server. This will take about 24 hours for me to remove the operating system and reinstall it. It will be a new install on the same server but a different distro with less overheads
Once I have firmed dates for these I will let you know.
The upgrades are a necessary part of the site and mean a fair amount of work and planning in order for them to go smoothly and I'll aim to have them complete with as little interruption as possible.
