As you’ve been there before you probably know about these things in Normanton, visit the Purple Pub but don’t drink there too long, go around the block and settle into the Albion, it‘s much more convivial.

Try a steak at the motel on the edge of town near the airport; I had the “small” steak, it was hanging over both ends of the elongated oval plate(probably better described as a platter) with a huge mound of chips and a garnish of salad, just an afterthought really, don’t want to be to health conscious; probably put 2 kilos on me in one meal.

Don’t feel too committed to your return date, feel free to return after our GF win😉, the Milton Mangos(if you drink the directly pumped and canned Brisbane River water) will be much better tasting on the afternoon of October 3rd.
