Some posting guidelines

Hi all,

Just wanted to update some things around posting as we move forward. We have gotten into a situation where everything gets dumped in one of two forums, which is more or less fine. However I want to bring back the landing page and news parts of the site which we have not had for a while.

What I am hoping we can do is start to have any articles that people post or find in the News categories and pages along with an image. Of course please only post part of the article with a link to the rest. We will then surface all those on the front pages and automatically back link them in this forum so they are visible.

I am also looking for people to post more articles themselves that they have written as well. There is plenty of room for a wider set of views in a more formal format and I would love to hear any interest from anyone if they want to try their hand at penning anything.

I am slowly converting the news forums to article forums and trying to find a way to place random cover images into the articles as well, to give us a better over all look and feel for them and then will start to build a home page which gives us more information still.

Anyway just looking for help as we start to rebuild the site. MSGA 🙂

Haha absolutely. Life got in the way of maintaining all those things. There is a lot going on in my life at the moment, but the way I deal with stress and things is to busy myself with tasks and projects.

With my lack of attention to the site in recent years a few things have slipped through the wayside, but with the greater push against social media and the possible rebuild to a brighter future ahead of us, I think this is the opportune time to really start rebuilding the site to what it used to be
