Wasn't Matai great for his first game back.

Well done for Watmough, 6 Missed tackles for the Ox and f for Matai isn't great.

I hope that Matai can improve his missed tackle count. Miss that many in the centres against the Tigpies and they will put plenty on us.

The errors one surprised me a bit with 4 for Matai.

I am guessing they count that ball that was around his shins, and a 1 on 1 strip on you as an error ?

Yep. That's how it goes unfortunately.

The 'errors' column doesn't take into account the difference between forced error and unforced error either.

For example, an impossible pass that hits the bootlaces but also touches the hands - it gets registered as a 'forced error'. Basically means that the error was unavoidable but still has to be logged as an error.

Not entirely sure on the 1:1 strip - but I would imagine that it would go in as an error because it is a turnover of possession (although in the case on Sat night it actually worked out well for Manly because Williams then went into touch).

Willo made about 25 tackles and 57 meters. Not sure how many minutes he played.

The props only made about 120 each, but as we all know, that game was won on the back of our backs, not dominating go forward.

Cheers Wil

Those stats really underlined the class of Watmough this year for me, it seemed one of his quieter games, a lot due to the fact Orford was running him as a decoy quite nicely, but still churned out his 130m
