Afternoon thunderstorm would set the scene nicely.  Only storm likely to show up on the day.  Huge mother of a thunderstorm in on 29/9/96 when Manly thrashed the Dragons in the GF.  Beaver scored beside the posts.  Great memories.

been raining here most of the night as well, just checked the RTA traffic cameras and most of the roads look dry out west of the city
