Stats on nrl match centre

There is no A.I. Just better computers
I see they have added a bunch more stats like play the ball speed.

Makes for some good reading.

Wow. I don't place too much faith in stats, preferring to let my eyes judge overall performances.
But the one stat that stands out from the above chart is how slow Elgey is at playing the ball. He obviously is too small to struggle to his feet quickly.
It's just another 'fail' mark against him.
Yesterday he was the one Manly player who was less than impressive, imo.

That's hardly a stat, he only got tackled a couple of times and each time was buried under a pile of giants. He did a few decent things and is worth persevering with.
Let's face it, Hodko is only in the 'break glass in case of emergency' category.
And Cust and Croker shouldn't be thrown in just to experiment, they should have to bide their time until and unless their form in reserves makes it impossible to leave them out.

Yeah, more info needed .... it is an average, and we don't know how many times he was caught with the ball .... for example it could of been only once and he was injured and got up slowly .... hard to tell ... but the figure will become meaningful as the season progresses and the size of the sample data increases ...

Was LG the player who at one point was held down in a tackle for so long that even the Fox commentators were wondering why we didn't get a penalty? It was close on 7 or 8 seconds.

That could have contributed to his average time, if it was him of course.

His overall stats are alarming. 8 tackle, 5 missed, 1 ineffective.
DCE s were 16 tackles, 1 miss.

Agreed, but Dessy not going to change a winning side.
We seriously need to find a solid 5/8, it's a massive issue to our success this year.

Thought it was Tommy tbh. That was a disgraceful call/play. Surrender tackle or not that was bs. Those refs were hopeless and had they been more balanced we probably would have put 60plus on the warriors.
