Storm in sell-off mode to keep skipper Smith

I’ll believe that Smith is the best player I have seen.

Do I like the guy??? No freaken way, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is one of the greats.

As @Mark from Brisbane said he had nothing to prove. Champions often go round one year too many. I’m hoping he has a terrible year and the game finally catches up with him.

I remember Terry Lamb standing on the Podium after steering the Bulldogs to a GF win over Manly in 1995 announcing his retirement as he’d done everything he’d ever wished for.

Except he came back the next year ( $$$) and had an absolute dog of a year.

Scam should retire now.

Thurston this year made plenty of money, didn’t help the Cowboys much though.

I’d love to see Storm have a dud year thanks to old Smithy breaking down. Surely he’s due, frankly his resilience has been astonishing.
