The Cheese ... allegedly charged

Dunno where this idea that Politis is a man of integrity comes from?

You don't get to where Politis is by being a nice guy, you get to where he is by being ruthless, & stepping on people & stabbing them in the back on your climb to the top.

He's been rorting the salary cap for years & is always looking for another way to use it to his advantage.
Not just in league either. He runs a pokie empire that's built on misery, greed , stepping on faces and lies.

WTF? Politis ‘stabbing them in the back on his climb up’….So Manase is innocent? Always wondered how Manase could have climbed with his arm in a sling!!!

Now who is living in fantasy land.🤣

Please provide the details and facts of all this slanderous anti Nick ranting.

Interesting to learn that the Roosters can apply for a salary cap exemption because Radley’s been suspended without pay for more than 8 games 😂

So not only do the Roosters backflip on their sacking of players who are caught up in allegations around drugs, but they find a way to make the perceived harsh punishment (that’s clearly designed to offset the backflip a little), work in their favour. They’ll probably be able to use the money to entice another player to sign and then round 11 comes along and Radley’s back and the roster is strengthened as a result. You couldn’t write this stuff.

Sounds like a nice amount to put to a returning Rugby Japan player, for a late season cameo, doesn't it.

To the people saying there’s enough allegedly acquired for multiple people, yes that is certainly plausible.

However that doesn’t automatically mean every one of those 8 players condoned, partook or was even aware of it.

Without that proof, the roosters can’t take any action against any of those other players.

Taking action against Radley is even a stretch given he hasn’t been charged with anything - there’s questions whether they even have grounds to sack him and not carry it on their cap. The RLPA will certainly make noise.

Saying the roosters must sack all eight, when there is no proof aside from “there was enough for multiple people” is one of the most ridiculous claims I’ve ever heard.
Did Vic lie to the club about what he did, then new evidence proves he lied?
If so that's enough to sack him.

Unfortunately for the Roosters, it won't be granted, they have determined the punishment, the composition of which is and was of their own doing.

The NRL will not overrule the Roosters sanction, they may, at a later date, determine their own sanction, if there is a need.

There is no basis for an exemption under the two policies governing application for an exemption and the rules determining the merit or otherwise.

At a dinner last night, this idea was floated around and two particular relevant individuals within the NRL had a slight chuckle at the notion, going so far as them waiting for he of the red bulbous nose and cheeks to commence his campaign via the NewsCorp media to "assist" the Roosters.

It appears to me, in this instance and finally, for once, the NRL and the NRLPA are no longer following the lead of the Roosters.

This is the first time I can remember in nearly 30 years of doing business in and around the NRL, the Roosters have missed the mark.
