We all here want manly to go back to back premiership winners - i will state for the record will wont

Go and say what you like but i cant see us winning it why because of what i like to call the odd year  syndrome

Lets have a look back
2008 winners in gf 40-0
2007 lost  in gf 34-8
2006 lost  in semi final 28-0 to St George
2005 lost in 1st week of finals to Parra 46-22

And we all cant forget what happen in 1997
You may agrue that what the heck manly have improved each year from those dark old days of a few years back
Well i am not disagreeing with you on that point i am saying apart from 2006 in the past couple of years manly seen to do better in the even year
Well check this stat out also in all 7 prermiships listed here manly has only won 2 of them in the odd year  (1972, 1973, 1976, 1978, 1987, 1996, 2008 )
I will state again manly wont win this year ( i hope i am wrong)

I will still support the team through this rough patch they are going through
Hope they prove me wrong

From what I've heard, if everyone stops stepping on the lines on the field during play and training it will negate this odd year syndrome.

So, do you think we will win this year ?

Rupert Murdoch - He'll continue to take money out of the NRL and collect millions in addition from pay TV subscriptions for TV rights he got all to cheaply, while his newspapers dig up dirt on players and crucify them to ensure headlines that help sell there papers, this will only be done of course as long as the players are not from the clubs he owns.
