The way forward

Disbanded as far as I know. Moving to Qld made it difficult to attend anyway even remotely due to some confidentiality aspects.
They are good at that , start member interaction and then it goes by the way.

Funny but Grant Mayer rang me weekly , every new story , rumour , whatever ā€œ Mark what are you hearing about XYZā€.

Never tried to influence me just interested in the fan feel on things.

Honestly I don’t know why they don’t do it more often.

Stephen Humphries and the CEO before him (name escapes me) we’re committed to it but since then there has been only a couple which related to the change of the Sea Eagle emblem.

The membership team runs on an oily rag so understand it was a bit of ā€˜extra work’ for them.

Cuzzo was a good at getting feedback back to the club and responding to questions etc but nothing since he left and the new bloke doesn’t seem interested although he might lurk šŸ‘€ a bit more than I think he does. He certainly read the feedback on their socials after the Tigers game 😃.

To me it all starts at the top. Hard to move the club forward without having a very strong leader someone totally committed to building the club back into a premiership force, someone with excellent footy knowledge and connections within the game to wheel and deal and make shxt happen. Someone who has full and total control to make the changes necessary without fear or favour from whoever owns the joint. Someone who will take a long term approach and rebuild the club from all the angles that you highlight.

Easy job ....... ????
Nobody with Manly DNA that fits that description for a decade at least now šŸ™

I’m sure they lurk on here , they pretty much always have.

I remember saying something on here 2-3 years ago and not long after Wayne rings me.

Now he didn’t have my phone number but obviously got it from membership records asking me me to retract what I’d said as it was incorrect.

I was a bit miffed that he did that , but what I’d said was incorrect so I retracted it

Most of the membership crew in years gone by were big lurkers , and even some players.

I remember meeting one of the players on one of two WCC tours I did and him saying ā€œ oh you’re that Mark from Brisbane fella ā€œ.

Not sure they bother today but they have in the past

Since the Penns became sole owners of the club apart from the obvious notables it’s been nothing but bargain buys, where they’ve been not at all first grade standard, have been on the scrap heap from at other clubs, bargain buys ,or near there use by date.
Scott Penn said when he took over the club,we won’t be signing players like we did in the past.So that’s where we are the buck stops at the feet of the Penns, and no one else.
So unless they splash out we will continue in the same way since his takeover.

What's the point of having a recruitment officer when our bufuddled coach picks the same nufties every match?
One of Seibold's faults I wonder if it is a thing that haunts him from his Broncos days where he gave around a dozen players there debut and in the end it didn't quite work out for him up there so is more cautious these days ?

How about a Knight with wings, and throw in a white horse that will bring the girls in.

Other than that, we could call ourselves the birds of steel, or he birds of steel town.

I’ve got some marketing buddies who would be happy to put some brochures and banners together.

I’m ready for the new manly new manly new manly

NYEagle
A big bright rainbow.

Who is the new bloke that replaced Cuzzo

I doubt they bother in here mate. They're too elitist to bother listening to what real stuck on fans think. They only want to cater to the insta , be seen at an event crowd who will jump ship rapidly now that we've turned into loser town.
