Of course he'll be back. Finch won't want to destroy his confidence totally, not unlike giving a player another chance after some major blooper. 'Kentucky Fried' Cecchin would have appreciated the support he got, but I'm sure he also realises in retrospect it was a shocker. Pleased to see Des and the club coming out with a constructive suggestion, the 'captains call' challenge during a game, rather than just plain whinging.
