If I make it to the member night I plan to ask how the club plans to get more former players involved in the club. How else can you get a culture? Times have changed of course with how clubs are structured, but it seems so important and an area where we have really fallen down, largely due to the Penns feud with the FC.
Spud Carroll is one bloke who still wants to be around Manly, we desperately need that link to our history.

The key to any good defence is for a competent coach to instill defensive principles in his team and have them working together like a pack of starving piranhas ruthlessly devouring at the opposition until the final seconds of the game

I think if we nail that we have enough genuine attackers to score enough points with DCE turbos BK ,Suli ,Elgy and a decent winger or 2

This is why we need ex players involved in this great club, Guys like Carrol, Toovs, Menzies and the rest, to fire up the passion and the desire of our present crop give them a couple of training and video sessions with these guys and get them going!!!!!!!!!!!
