My guess is that is total garbage but some lunatic claimed in a Daily Telegraph blog today that Thurston is being chased for 2012 (or even 11)

Totally contradicts everything in the paper about the Cowboys and Gus Gould etc so it is probably just rumour-mongering. Made me laugh though.
