Another tough week to be a Manly fan; we lost, too many upsets in the tipping comp, heaps of people out in the last fan standing comp but at least the Womens' soccer team beat Japan and they beat the usa for the first time. Rip Les Murray.

Meanwhile...back in a certain head office, a certain ceo (and certain ref's) go over notes from the weekly Storm, Broncos, Eels, Roosters, Nth Qld, and Penrith meeting.....

Ok, a tough round and no one tipped all games correctly! The closest we got was @Growler FNQ who somehow tipped 6 from 8 with a chewy 7 points and a margin of 4. Good job!

Joining way back on Star Wars day (May the fourth) in 2010, eagle66 has racked up a memorable 600 posts...or about 100 per year...or about 4 per game and err wait, what? That seems a little thin! You must be on one hell of a restrictive internet plan!

There's a belief that non verbal communication accounts for about 70% of communication as opposed to verbal. With that in mind eagle66 often glares ineffectively at his computer screen to show his disgust with the nrl.

Until @Dan implements face to face posting in these forums (lol) we can but encourage our friend from over in England to post more.

Yet in his 600 or so posts he has started 76 threads meaning when he has something to say...we all better damn well listen!!

With a healthy skepticism of the nrl and refs in general, eagle66 is a welcome and valued part of our silvertails family.

Well Manly faithful, the Roosters are up this week and we're all hoping our defence improves and the team gives it a red hot go.

Thank you for the kind summary. I try not to post just for the sake of getting my numbers up. I have been in the UK for 3 weeks and now in France. Back home next week. Thankfully I have missed in some way the debacles of the last 3 weeks. However,still get up at 5am to follow the game day thread.

And thank you for being a member and taking my comments in the spirit that they are intended. Obviously I don't think you actually glare at your computer but as I have yet to meet everyone...some liberties must be taken!

Enjoy France, I really like the place (helps to have a few in laws roaming around I guess) and I look forward to returning someday.
