Basically full strength 1-13 minus Burbo.

The key will be how we go once our weakened bench comes on.

Minus Waddell at 12.

But yes the performance of our bench will be what loses us this game, if we lose. We don't have the luxury this week of bringing on Brown and Sipley, if we did I'd be very confident of the win.

The bench is very weak and I doubt Lodge has big minutes in him first game back. Going to be a big challenge in the middle.

I’d be playing James instead of Matterson to give us an extra middle.

Hate saying this, but we lose this one, I'm tapping out for the season, because it's indication nothing has changed. We'd be a .400 something team again (surprise, surprise, with Tom IN the team). I was worried pre-season about our recruitment, injury prone roster, ruck speed, and speed / mobility. Those fears are still evident.

From the sounds of it they might be playing in monsoonal conditions. Defence on the edges wins this for us. Fifita has run rampant on us in the past. AJ also loves hunting for the holes up the middle when the big units tire.

I don't think that's quite accurate. You take 3 of the best props out of any team they will be down a gear, it remains to be seen how bad injuries are for us across the whole season.

I think today will tell us a lot. There's no excuses not to put them away today rain , hail or shine. It's a full strength backline and enough up front to dominate. Throw up another Dragons effort and it'll be another year of failure.
