Wells impressive on debut

Jason Wells got about 30 minutes in an impressive debut.
Has size and mobility, his defence was strong withgood involvement in attack.
Spent time at lock and second row and even in the halves with Beaver when Ox was given his well earned rest.
Will be better for the experience and a ready replacement for Williamson in the future.

I thought he was solid and workmanlike but wouldn't term him impressive.

What was good was that Bryant, Hall, Ballin and Cuthbo and Jack plus Wells were all on the paddock together. We didn't look too bad with them there!

Wells has got potential, big and mobile. He went good.
