3 Qld bids (C QLD, Brisbane 2 and Western Corridor) applying for the NRL

1 West Australian (W.A.Reds)

and of course the no chance Bears (to many NRL sides in NSW)

Good. There needs to be at least one more club in Brisbane, possibly even two more to even out the playing field (n pun intended). The Broncos have such a huge advantage over every other club. It would be great to see them have competition in the city.

Make it two conferences (Northern / Southern)
Assists with travel costs, too.

I think it is a step to shut the QRL up. They are worried about losing power. If they get the 17th seat on the IC (and WARL the 18th seat) they'll then have 5 votes vs 13 votes for NSWRL, with WARL and VicRL having one each. The fact they need 16 votes to achieve any changes NSWRL would still need a QRL vote, even if they get the other 2 votes from Melbourne and WA.

The way it s going it will be a QLD team and WA, and that makes Bears supporters sad pandas.

A possible English side in the NRL!! Might be a goer if they can get an English version of Nathan Tinkler.

How it would work is like this from my understanding :
Side would be based out of Leeds but play some games at other grounds.
The team first plays 4 away games in a row and then turn around and play 4 home games in England

I would only accept conferences if they had 14 teams in each...Problem with that is money will be spread thinly, as will the supporters base.
