With Brad Fittler been sacked to make way for Knights current coach Brian Smith who is heading to Bondi in 2010.

Will the Broncos Coach Ivan Henjak be the next to Go ? be it by standing down or sacked ?

They're all rubbish coaches wtih rubbish teams.

We've got the best team and the best coach so I'm happy!

Apparently Henjak was given a ridiculous ultimatum at the start of the year where he had a month to prove himself. As in, if you're struggling after four rounds, then start packing your bags because you won't last another month.

He beat that and had the Broncos in a strong position before Origin. They've fallen apart a bit since then - but plenty of Broncos sides have done similar things in recent years. Remember the slump which was not a slump in '06 when they won the comp?

He won't stand down. He's far too competitive. And the only thing that would stop him from coaching the Broncos next year would be if they missed the finals, and Locky did his knee and put his hand up to coach.

Broncos won't get rid of him.. they aren't that sort of club... on the exterior anyway... the problem with the broncos is they have the best backline in the comp coupled with the worst forward pack in the comp and unfortunately most of their backs play origin and unfortunately they paid 500k for israel falou leaving next to no room for back up players.

Better luck next year broncos.

Broncos won't sack him this year but I do think they need to do a bit of a clean out of some of there so called stars with even bigger ego's to match.

Henjak might get another year, but the dogs are barking that Kevie Walters will be the next Broncos Coach probably 2011.

Where would that leave Lockyer (who people have said will take over whenever he decides to hang up the boots, with maybe a year or two of a working apprenticeship)?

Walters is a great fella, but he hasn't exactly done a great job with Les Catalans either...

Cleary got extended until 2012 a few weeks back DSM

The funniest part of the whole thing was John Hart declaring him a "future supercoach"

This 'supercoach' thing is totally overcooked.  Hagan is described as such in the Telegraph.  What seems to happen is that a team win three on the trot and the coach is signed long term, followed by a string of pathetic losses.  The Warriors should do a whole lot better than they do.
