With Wolfman / Blair / Gutherson released, we've gone from having too many wingers to looking a bit light on in that position (not that either did much last season).
Assuming Lyon moves to 5/8, Hiku to centre, and Tom T on wing, our reserve outside backs are Moltzen/ Williame / Satini... doesn't fill one with confidence (I'm hoping Goodall/Green will be used as backrowers and they may not be ready for first-grade, anyway).
I suppose Barrett sees Brown/Symonds as cover in the Centres,
Whatever happened to Berryman? I had high hopes when he joined us ... It's been a while since we had a flier on the wing such as Robertson.

Was just thinking the same thing. This year Williame and Satini were way off A grade standard, so pretty sure we can rule those two out. It makes the decision to let Gutho go even a little more strange, but I suspect we were fitting someone not yet announced into our top 25. We really relying on the kids like Garner or Green to be guns or we're struggling.

Green is far from a winger also. I'd say not much outside Trbojevic, Goodall and Garner.

Goodall bulked up in the forwards at the eels. He'd be 110-112 kg these days.

I'm not sure Garner is with us next year. Sure hope so cause he really is in the box seat for A grade on the wing.

The club has No speciality wingers. They put players in to fill the rolls but they are not true wingers, its a specialised position. If you have watched any of Goodall's games you will see he is not a winger, he is a big man similar to T Rex who should be in the forwards. He struggles with fitness big time and is a lazy player. He is too slow to get back in defence, he can't tackle and struggles under the high ball especially in contesting for it and is not quick enough. Manly's weakness is outwide and unfortunately it will be shown up next season
