Exactly what I would have. I still think Lussick can bring some aggression and thought he made some decent runs - the problem is he needs to up his work rate. Starling is my other choice.

Feleti and Parcell will take some pressure off the halves with creativity and Parcell gets the defence on the back foot early which allows us to make metres and build momentum.

i agree bones.. don't feel like lyon has anywhere near enough influence on the game out in the centres and it was frustrating last night how little he saw the ball. Being the captain id prefer he played a more central role with organisation. Would possibly pay for him to defend in the centres and move infield when attacking in the oppositions half. Im also thinking feleti could play well as a first receiver drawing defenders and walker playing off him on the outside. Could be dangerous.

I have said it before and will say it again, BJ and Starlo took us to equal first so should be playing. Add Symonds and then we have 3 players who's combinations are sorted, the big excuse for the crap display I keep reading here. Need more rotation of the Backrow than last night as well.

Might want to check your info on JT - he is paid far more than DCE. Just signed a new TPA to appear on 9 commentary and footy show as well for around 500K.

If you are talking non TPA's well DCE is on a lot less than 1M a year which is what JT is supposedly taking up

The worry is that we played with players that hadn't had any trial hit outs, yet guys like Lawrence , Starlo , Mateo & Symonds weren't picked despite showing decent form . Is the writing on the wall for some of them?

Tred has built a combination with dce other the last 3 years .we need more stability.

Green came to Manly from St Merge
Vave came to Manly from Cronulla

Both clubs that Barrett played at during his career. You could probably throw former Penrith hooker Koroisau in there as well if that was the line of thinking. Lewis Brown being a current Kiwi international I can understand though.

How was Green more deserving of a spot than Leary or T-Red?

How was Vave more deserving than BJ or Starling?

Neither offered anything to the team last night. It was a waste of time having them out there.

After playing no trials, was Koroisau the better choice in front of Parcell? Though in his defence, Api wasn't bad and his defence was ok (39 tackles, 4 missed). But I honestly thought Parcell looked the better of the two.
