Does anyone know how I can download stuff I have recorded on my foxtel iq. The box has stuffed up and I know they will just want to replace it when the techie comes round but last time they did that I lost everything I had recorded. There must be a way to copy that somehow, can anyone help me.

Cant really be done unfortunately. You could try playing it back through a dvd recorder and then havr the dvd recorder recors the av playback but still may have issues

It's definitely not easy to do, Foxtel like to keep it that way.

Replaying won't work if the box is playing up, plus it is content protected. There has been talk of putting a device between the iQ and a recorder but they keep upgrading the s/w and I don't know of any genuine solution. I don't believe there is any way to download to another drive. Not helpful I know but would be thrilled if there is any genuine solution from someone else. Sorry MissKate.
