NASA Helios 2 space probe is the fastest man-made object ever. It set a record speed of 157078 mph during the mission.

Given the speed of light travels at about 186,000 mph .... that is really moving. To put it into perspective, that would mean it would circle the Earth about 4 times in one second ...

As corrected by Global ,, 186,000 mps ...
