    Funny, at 34 minutes I was thinking we'd done well defensively with just one intercept try, then bang bang bang. Disappointing, we have no resilience. If we lose momentum we seem unable to wrestle it back. Big half needed here.

    Lazy? Wasted talent? Fifita averages 16 runs a game. That is the most of any edge in the game this year and second in forwards only to AFB. He also averages 25 tackles a game. His work ethic is not an issue.

    Manly aside, the whole 'winning the comp is years away' narrative for any club I'm not necessarily on board with. Things can swing relatively quickly at times. Broncos went from the spoon to a GF in a couple of seasons. Souths went from prem favourites after magic round to spoon favourites...

    I'm againt the grain here. I think Koula to fullback, Tom to Centre and Haumole to middle weakens us. Not sure Koala has the ball playing or the voice to take on fullback at the stage. Haumole is an attacking weapon, to put him in the middle as a battering ram wastes him IMO

    A lot of hype on Koula at fullback. Not saying he couldnt be great but he played two games against the awful Tigers and Bulldogs both out of finals contention. He is no lay down misere to be a gun fullback.
