A whole bottle?? If you like the Wild Turkey then I would highly recommend Angel's Envy. Much smoother....and smaller bottle!!!

    Left field

Onitoni is 18 next year and (apparently) at a higher level development than Joseph Suallii same age. He also played Jersey Flegg for Wests this year so no stranger to coming up against the bigger boys. Coming off the bench with Cherry outside of him and Turbo likely other side of him, he will...

    Left field

Interesting combination. I would say definitely better than what we currently have in the spine and more potentially Premiership winning in 25. Several reservations. 1. Turbo...I would be looking to preserve / protect him more, so I would not be putting him in at 5/8. 2. Turbo again....killed it...

    2026 recruitment & retention

From what I have seen and heard, Patolo could be THE surprise package in 25. Big statement I know given some of the newbies on board. This kid has already played over 25 NRL games so could be a perfect complement to our forward pack. Look forward to seeing him in action.

    Defence

This was one of the three big reasons I reluctantly gave Seibs a fail in 24. The other two reasons related firstly to an inability of the coaching staff to create workable game plans around getting Tolu out in the open (kick throughs, chips, cut-outs etc) and secondly, around our right side...

    The Jake Conundrum

I raised the Jake "Conundrum" about 2 years ago under the title of "Jake - Mr In-Between". The issue of his seriously declining leg speed must be pretty obvious even to Jake. This raises other issues in terms of his contract worth and his position in the 17. Re the latter, I think there is only...

Good to see you back @Woodsie. .

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

I think that is the secret sauce to how we go one step better in 25. Maybe several steps better. I really like young Navale and this new guy Patolo who has already played a bunch of NRL games. If Seibold can integrate these type guys into our monster pack and fix the obvious issues in our...

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

He certainly deserves a lot of credit for where we ended up in 24 particularly with the forwards that he inherited. So all cudos to him. However I do believe he failed on several very specific objectives that were well within his control. One was to reorganise our right side defence and the...

That's a good piece of work SE1. Lets hope Seibold has some other options. If that is our "go-to" pack of forwards in 25 then I would say absolutely no chance of making the 8. That list would be Easily the slowest and most immobile pack in the comp. I think Seibold has to take some chances with...

    Bateman

Fair opinion. I just think he is that tough aggressive no compromising player we currently miss in our pack. Obviously he has that same style off the field and up against massive ego's like Stewart and Benji i can understand why there were issues. I don't think that will be the case with Siebold.

Yep I think it's there or thereabouts for our middles in 25 plus Taukeiaho. Not a bad bunch and might actually do the job over 27 grinding rounds. Be a good group to "blood" a couple of the young up and commers. Jake and croker the interesting challenges for the coach.

    Bateman

I think Bateman would b a huge coup for us in that left backrow. Would have preferred a good young middle but sounds like the club has a different strategy in that department.

I like your thinking and direction here @Ryan. I doubt however we will ever see Jake an Lachlan as reserves. I am still big on loyalty and allegiance (yes I know) so I would not be interested in ANY of the Fainus back at the club. I wont elaborate any further.

    Onitoni Large

That's fast. Tolu still the best at 10.56 Looks like we have the fastest 3 guys in the comp. Lets see if we have game plans to match!!

    So far off the pace

Spot on Maxta. My frustration is that this problem been around now for several seasons. Still not fixed. That's not good coaching. Not a good sign for 25.

    So far off the pace

Yep good call. Definitely need to change a few things to go a few steps further in 25. Be interesting to see what the coach comes up with. We all have front row tickets!!!

    Croker

Both lachlan and jake are my two favourite players in the side. Unfortunately they will be the same two players with the biggest decisions hanging over their heads for 25. Don't envy Seibold one bit but I think the required changes are becoming more obvious each day.

    So far off the pace

Bear there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that Reuben had / has serious defensive issues out wide. Just from watching the games. The more intriguing question in my mind is what Seibold will do about it for next year. Persevere? Change? I would definitely go the latter ala Zac Lomax and shift...
