    NRL Games [Round 6, 2025]

Looking at the header for this week's NRL Team Lists, I can't help but think that Edwards and Luai are in a police lineup instead of an NRL team! Surely it's not that serious...

    [Resurrected] Spelling on posts

Repeat after me (lol): Lachlan Croker - C-R-O-K-E-R - not Crocker, Crokker or Croaker, etc Ethan Bullemor - B-U-L-L-E-M-O-R - not Bullemore, Bullamore, Bullomer, etc Josh Aloiai - A-L-O-I-A-I - not Aloai, Alolai, Aloli :shake:

    Pre-Game Sharks V Manly [Round 6, 2025]

It's Talau and Croker due back in round 7.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Great weather, great crowd and atmosphere at Brookie today - shame about the result. Koula, Haumole, Lehi and (in the 1st half) Burbo our best. Finally a journo asked a decent question in the presser and we now know Croker and Talau hopefully back in round 7 vs Dragons and Lodge eligible in...

    Pre-Game Sharks V Manly [Round 6, 2025]

Seibs said in the presser that the team leaves tomorrow for Perth.

    3) Koula - never thought I'd give him top points but there's a first time for everyone 2) Haumole - beast, our best forward 1) Lehi - did well at FB against a tough Storm team Burbo would have earned points for his first half but wasn't so good in the second half.

Game Day: Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

I hate to agree with you but I do. Paseka and Aloiai are big outs for us up front and Hughes in is another hurdle. I'm off to Brookie where either my heart or my head will get a win. Go Manly!!

And then some if Hughes plays.

    Club News 2025

The weekly Injury Report sure is conspicuous by its absence. First it was Brown, then Talau and now Croker as well. Could add Lodge to the list, though he isn't eligible to play NRL. I wish the journos would ask Seibs in a presser, instead of them, and also the club, just focusing on one or two...

I get that (yes unfortunately) but surely the 'new' has a voice. This lack of info is so frustrating.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Eels [Round 4, 2025]

After a dramatic week, and in such crazy weather, I'm just thankful for the win. Can't believe we're in 2nd place but who knows for how long. Was hoping we'd get through the game unscathed, particularly in view of next week's game, but not to be...again. Everyone around me was saying "Turbo's...

    MVP: Rd 4 v Eels

Hard to choose this week: 3) Lehi - for his age/size/experience he's amazing 2) Burbo 1) Haumole Closely followed by: TKO, Simpkins, Garrick, Saab

Game Day: Manly V Eels [Round 4, 2025]

Off to Brookie and not sure what to expect. The rain's gone but there's a gale blowing on the coast (is that an omen after the last week). I'll be cheering for the whole team. Just get it done and with no injuries, please. Go Manly!

    Club News 2025

Good spotting. Dare I say it, I didn't notice. They could've picked better than July, my birthday month to put him. Then again, maybe I'll just wipe that month and put it back to Jake. Happy days...

    NRL Games [Round 4, 2025]

I noticed Seibs praising him too and with a name like Gene Ngamu, I'd be shocked if he wasn't. Having since researched him it seems he's a curator, so yes he's the same guy who played for us in 1992-3.

Tuponua sinbinned at fulltime... that's so ridiculous it's laughable. Yet Mahoney wasn't. What a joke!

I agree, and I think that's precisely why he initially baulked at the idea. The guy kept begging him till he reluctantly relented but mucked it intentionally.

Something light-hearted to end the week if anyone's interested: After last Saturday's captain's run, the players came along the fence for an impromptu signing of posters, photos with fans, etc. DCE signed various paraphernalia handed to him, which he found amusing (e.g. coat hanger, wheel...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

I feel aggrieved about how he announced his intentions on TV as it was a slap in the face for the fans who've supported him for 13+ years. He could've handled this a whole lot better and I wrongly thought he had more class. I don't deny he's given his all to the club and been paid for it. I am...

Spot on, and my thoughts exactly! Even if in hindsight he regretted what he said (which I doubt), he could've since had a presser and addressed the members and fans, wearing Manly gear. But no, nothing, which just makes it worse. And to think there I was on Saturday after the captain's run...
