Spot on , Schuster 400k ringing wet, equals a spare 700 k .......that would be handy !

Hope he gets a Clive Churchill before he is done with the Eagles.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Very valid comments with Schu and in line with DCE's a couple of months ago when he spoke of the sacrifice required to be a professional athlete. I was at the game against the Cowboys, on fulltime Schu jumped the fence and walked through the stand lapping up the attention with no regard to the...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 18, 2023]

Schu had nothing last night. Other than him lobbing the pill on Burbos chest when he ran that hole.

    Who’s the boss

After reading a lot of posts this week, there is a common belief that a few games this year have been up there with our worst performances ever. I am bewildered that a new coach takes over the reigns after last years disgraceful boycott, and the leader of that boycott remains at the club...

    The Sei-build

Good post, we really need a good prop to get some vigor in to our engine-room. I am flabbergasted that 8 weeks ago Schuster was dropped at 5/8 for not doing enough work and we put him on a monster deal in a position even more demanding. DCE’s and the other players opinion clearly not important...

    Post-Game Discussion Storm v Manly [Round 17, 2023]

Croker at 6 for me, his defense would have saved at least two tries last night and we know his kicking game is spot on when he uses it. Big Shu looks like Tarzan, plays like Jayne.

    Cleanout for 2024

Aloiai led a potential forfeit last year, every time he plays like last weekend its a stark reminder of how dedicated he is to the team. There is no I in team for the record. Lets commence the cleanout one at a time, we might be all pleasantly surprised at who pulls their socks up if Seibold...

    Matt Lodge... Signed.

Would be very astute for both him and the club to sign him for the rest of the season only. He needs to raise his share price for a contract, and God knows we need to banish a couple of our blokes to Blacktown forever.

    MVP: Rd 15 v Dolphins

Top performance from all. DCE in career best form and Croker as well, he was our best player in the loss to Newcastle. All our forwards seem to respond to him, good times ahead when Jakes back.

Jack Wighton free to negotiate ...

I can’t wait to see which reporter has the clackers to put the spotlight on the elephant in the room. Sticky has been there 9 years and finished outside the top ten 5 times. He clearly upset his 2 co-captains a season back. Hodgson moved on and the resistance of Stuart to elevate Croker earlier...

    [Resurrected] Lachlan Croker

Last years best and fairest was sorely missed last night, his ability to shift the ball long on both sides of the ruck is sometimes overlooked. Makes our boys work a little easier and the defenders a bit harder and cleans up in defense time and time again. Fingers crossed he is not out for too long.

My 2 things from last night ..

Best win we have had for a long time , the tussle around the 20-30 minute mark showed real heart from our side , we won the arm wrestle off the back foot. Very few forced balls and we really respected our possession, thats culture.

Manly in Crisis (a mega thread)

Penn, Dessy and DCE. Of the 3 if you had a choice to select on a fit for purpose basis in purely leadership skills, who do you pick ? Which one attracts a marquee player to the club at MARKET price or unders ? God knows if we pay overs for one more we are screwed for another five years !

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Its ALWAYS about him. Remember the last play he put on against Melbourne when we beat them last round this year ? We were up by six with 20 seconds to go and he is going for a try assist in the corner. The week before we lost through complacency againt the Cows after being in a position were we...

Quick question- Hooker in 2023 ?

More importantly, who are our front rowers in 23. Croker was our 9 last year and we played off for a GF slot. He has tried his gutz out in a team on the back foot every week this year and been one of our best. So before you throw the baby out with the bath water, best open your eyes and have a...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

He is the current Qld and Australian skipper and doesn't attract fellow guns to play along side him in search of a premiership, says it all. I think he is a good guy and a great player but his lack self awareness lets him down as a leader. Penn the same , the Jersey fiasco started right in the...

    Deep deep doo doo

Nailed. We over analyze a real simple game of inches at times, top for sides mostly hold the best big boys that revel in the tough stuff. Lazarus, everywhere he went so did the Winfield Cup. Who's our leader in the engine room that's going to dish out better than we are getting in that real...

    Croker Experiment OVER!

So……..we go from one game from a GF to this ****fight, and you want to blame the bloke who has made the most tackles for the team for the year. Then , after running backwards tackling his guts out makes it to nearly every play at dummy half for the next set over and over for eighty minutes...
